EEG signals picked up from scalp can be processed and determined to understand the state of mind. The application which has been referred in this paper picks up the signal and transmits it through GPRS every 5 seconds, to a dedicated web-server which triggers the appropriate response based on the comparison of EEG frequency repository and sends the SMS to concerned person and to the ambulance/hospital near the person in panic. This application would be a boon for old people, heart patients and disabled people. This paper deals with understanding aspects of EEG Based Panic Tracker and challenges that are being faced in its development.
